Kellie Pickler Nashville’s own Lindsay Lohan?

107.5 “The River” (WRVW) radio personality/intern Adam, stated on air and on his personality page on August 7 that he spotted country singer, Kellie Pickler, behind the wheel of a black Mercedes in a Nashville McDonalds drive-thru and appeared to be inebriated.

“Obviously this girl has had tooo much to drink and shouldn’t be behind the wheel of her car. Could she be Nashville’s own Lindsay Lohan???”

What is Kellie’s response to these accusations??

Well, Pickler joined the morning crew(next morning) in the studio, along with her publicist and manager, to take on the team’s accusations.

Kellie, who sounded like she was nearly crying, proclaimed that, “It’s not ‘my side of the story,’ it’s the truth. I feel like I’m on trial and being convicted of something I didn’t do from some of Adam’s observations.”

Kellie was worried small children may have heard Adam’s on-air accusations. “There’s kids that listen to your station. They’re fans of mine too, probably. I don’t want them to think that I’m out drunk-driving, I mean, because it’s not right and that I’m a role model for these little girls and little boys and some parents. That hurts me, that you would get on here and say that about me when it’s false. If it were true, go ahead run your mouth all you want. When it’s not even true, it hurts.

“You don’t take in consideration who I am. I’m a person. I’m a human being, and sometimes people cross the line, as if celebrities are just a piece of meat that they can just cut open and throw all over the place. I’m a person. I have feelings. I have a heart. I mean, that hurts, you know? And to have false things said about you and lies, yeah, you know you take the good with the bad. I guess that’s the bad that I have to take with my job - that I have to deal with people spreading lies and talking just absolute nonsense about me. I guess I just have to get over it.”

The whole story started when the radio station recieved reports of Kellie drinking (prior to McDonalds) at The Stage and Tootsie’s.

“I had half of a cocktail,” the singer replied. “I didn’t even drink the whole thing. I don’t have to drink to have a good time.”

Ahhhhh, she still got behind the wheel after drinking and was acting wild at the McDonalds. Celebs just got to be careful, I guess. Easy targets!!! Too bad it’s too late for Lindsay Lohan!
